Organizational Structure

Emanuele Tournon has been Chief Financial Officer and member of the Vodafone UK Board since January 2017.

He joined Vodafone Italia in 2000, increasing his responsibility until he became General Manager of Finance, Administration and Control in 2007; between 2014 and 2017, he then took on the role of CFO Europe of the Vodafone Group, also covering the role of member of the Board of Directors of various companies of the Vodafone Group in Europe.

Previously he gained significant professional experience both in Italy and internationally in Citibank and FIAT.

Born in Udine on 12 July 1959, he has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua.

He has been the CEO of INWIT since 13 April 2018.

In July 2016, he took over the Technology division at Telecom Italia S.p.A.

In 2015, he was an advisor at Persidera S.p.A..

From 2005 to 2016, following the joining of Tim S.p.A. into Telecom Italia S.p.A., he had increasing responsibilities in the Technology area. First, he took over Network Quality Assurance and was then named Head of Delivery

Services Operations (2008) in the Open Access division, Head of Operations Governance (2009), Head of Engineering & Access Network Development (2011), Head of Network Development, Operations & Governance (2012), Head of Networks (2014).

In August 1998, he joined Telecom Italia Mobile S.p.A., where he was in charge of the Business line in the Network Area and then had the position of CTO at Amena, the third largest mobile operator in Spain.
From April 1986, hired by SIP (then Telecom Italia S.p.A.), until 1998, he had various Central Plant positions and was Head of Networks in the Territorial Network Direction.

Born in Turin on 6 August 1963.

Since January 2018, she’s been Head of Auditing at Inwit S.p.A.

She joined SIP in 1989 in the Internal Auditing division, where she initially worked as an auditor and then as a supervisor.

Starting in 2006, she was in charge of Models and Programmes in the Revision division, first in the company of the Group TI AUDIT & COMPLIANCE Services and then in TIM’s Audit Direction.

Specifically, she dealt with the definition of methodologies and management systems of the revision process, guaranteeing quality control of actions, reporting of audits and ensuring reporting to the Organisms of Control and Governance at a Group level.

She actively participated in the adoption project by the TIM Group of Enterprise Risk Management and in the definition of the Organizational Model 231.

Before joining the TIM Group, she had several positions in the Foreign and Securities Office at Banca Sella.

She graduated in Economics and Business and has obtained numerous certifications, such as CIA-Certified Internal Auditor, CCSA - Certification in Control Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance Validator/Assessor.

Diego was born in Rome in 1966. 

He has a degree in Business Administration from the university of Rome ‘La Sapienza’; he is qualified as chartered internal auditor (CMIIA) from the Institute of Internal Audit UK&Ireland.

Since 2000 Diego has been in Vodafone, where he has held various roles in Italy and abroad.

Since 2016 he has been Internal Audit Director for Vodafone group worldwide, based in London.

During the period 2008-2016 Diego held the Finance Director role in the Vodafone subsidiaries in the UK (2013-2016), in Turkey (2010-2012) and in Hungary (2008-2009).

Between 2000-2007 he was Chief Controller in Vodafone Italy and Financial Controller for the South Europe&Africa Region. 

During his time with Vodafone, Diego has been company director of various entities, including Vodafone UK Ltd, Cable&Wireless worldwide services Ltd, Vodafone Spain SA, and the UK tower company

Cornerstone telecommunications infrastructure Ltd.

Before Vodafone, Diego held various financial roles in Unilever Italy and Unilever Group. 

Born on 15 August 1966.

On 28 January 2019, he joined INWIT S.p.A., in charge of the Legal, Corporate Affairs & Compliance division.

From 2017 to January 2019, he was Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Sole 24 ore Group, dealing with the Training and Events area and Capital Increase. He was Chairman of Il Sole 24 Ore USA Inc., Board Member for 24 Ore Cultura; of the Business School S.p.A. and of TER - Tavolo Editori Radio.

In 2016, he was Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at E.U.R. S.p.A. in charge of legal, human resources and organization, purchasing and services, and the corporate administrative office.

From 2010-2015, he was Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs at R.A.I., responsible for litigation, corporate, legislative, regulatory and contractual consulting. He was Head of the legal team for the IPO of Rai Way for the listing on the MTA of the Italian Exchange and the bond issue of R.A.I.

From 2014 to 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of RAI WAY. From 2012-2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of AUDITEL.

From 2011 to 2015, he was a Member of the Legal and Policy Committee Union and the Legal and Public Affairs Assembly at EBU - European Broadcasting Union.

From 2008-2012, he was a Member of the Board of Directors at I.N.P.G.I. appointed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and member of the “Contributions and Vigilance” Committee of the same body.

From 2003 to 2008, he worked at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, first in the Department of Information and Publishing as legal expert and then in the General Secretariat.

From 1992-2010, he was a Partner at the Lo Giudice Associated Firm.

He obtained a degree in Law from the Sacro Cuore Catholic University, Milan, in 1990. Since 1993, he has been qualified to practice law.

Francesca Stacchiotti was born in Perugia on 22 August 1974.

She has been Head of Human Resources at INWIT since December 2019.

From 2015 to 2019, she was Head of Organization & Processes within HRO at TIM, working for the Chief Wholesale Infrastructures Network & Systems Office and Chief Technology & Information Office functions.

In 2014, she was Head of Planning & Organization within the People Value function at TIM's Caring Services Department.

From 2009 to 2014, she was Head of Compensation & Benefit at TIM Group and in 2011 joined the Board of Directors of HR Services s.r.l.

From 2006 to 2009, she held various managerial roles at Telecom Italia, including Head of Organization and Processes.

In 2004, she was appointed Head of Local Human Resources at TIM, based in Naples.

In 2000, she joined Telecom Italia Mobile as an organisation and manpower planning analyst in the Human Resources & Organization function.

She began her career in 2000 at Sagit S.p.A (Unilever Group).

She graduated in 1999 with a degree in Engineering Management from Università degli Studi in Rome, Tor Vergata.   

Michelangelo Suigo graduated in Business and Economics from “La Sapienza” University and has a Master's degree in higher legislative studies from ISLE (Institute for Documentation and Legislative Studies). He was formerly with Leonardo S.p.A. where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Government Affairs.

From 1995 to 1999 he worked at the Senate of the Republic as an expert in legislative technique, dealing with telecommunications, radio and television broadcasting, industry, transport and public works.

He joined Vodafone Italia in December 1999 where he took on roles of increasing responsibility in the External Affairs area, ultimately assuming the role of Head of Governmental & Institutional Affairs, which he held until March 2019. 

He is a journalist and professor of Lobbying and Public Affairs on the main master's degrees in lobbying and business communication (including at the LUISS Business School, Sole 24 ORE Business School and Tor Vergata University).

Gabriele Abbagnara was born in Reggio Calabria on 24 July 1964. On 28 January 2019, he joined INWIT, taking over the Marketing & Sales division.

From 1997 to January 2019, he worked at TIM S.p.A. as Head of the Commercial Area, first dealing with the development and completion of mobile services in the market of Central and Local Public Administration, then moving to the private sector in Central Italy, responsible for the formulation of TLC offerings for integrated landline and mobile services. He then dealt with the study and development of digital solutions in the local Public Administration market, specifically, the analysis and proposal of projects for Digital Agenda, Smart City and technological innovation for public healthcare.

In 1996-1997, he worked at Tandem Computers S.p.A. as a commercial officer, dealing with the introduction and development of fault tolerance systems in Finance and interbank payment systems.

From 1990 to 1996, he was at Bull Italia S.p.A., as a commercial officer, dealing with the introduction of IT solutions in credit institutions. He graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Messina in 1989.

Massimo was born in Milan in April 1964.

He has been Head of Technology Governance & MSA di Inwit S.p.A. since April 2020. 

From 2019 to 2020 he held the role of Technical Director at Vodafone Towers. 

During the period 2007-2019 he took on roles of increasing responsibility in the Technology Department at Vodafone Italy. 

In 2006 he was appointed Head of Southern Europe Data Center at Vodafone.

From 2003 to 2006 he held various managerial positions in the Information Technology Department at Vodafone Italy.

In 2000 he was in charge of the Network Testing, Operations & Maintenance Department at Vodafone Italy.

In 1995 he joined Vodafone Italy as Network Management Center Supervisor.

He began his professional career in 1991 as OSS Project Manager at Sirti S.p.A.

He has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Polytechnic of Milan in 1989. 

Born on 27 February 1971.

Since 1 August 2018, she has worked at INWIT in charge of the Technology & Operations division, ensuring the scouting of technological innovation for the development of new services to market, processes of design and creation of macro sites, creation of microcellular coverage as well as asset/operation maintenance and management of sites and of company production assets. The division also ensures the optimization of rental costs and Information Technology activities.

In 2016, she took control of the Development Central Area division in charge of the Network Operation Central Area, ensuring executive planning and completion of core and fixed broadband networks and mobile access networks for the appropriate area, as well as the implementation and management of the property of radio base stations. 

From 2013 to 2016, she was responsible for Wireless Technical Requirement & Special Projects for the Head of Wireless Development at Telecom Italia.

In 2013, she was project manager for “special projects and working plans for mobile access networks” as part of General Direction for Wireless Development, following special wireless technology projects at Telecom Italia.

In 2000, she joined TIM as Senior Engineer in the Technologies and Industrialization sector of the Radioelectric Systems Development line in the general Network division, monitoring innovative WOS (Wireless Office System) technologies and adapting the TIM network to the architecture requirements for support in the network of new access services.

From June to September 2000, she worked for ALENIA SPAZIO as Senior Engineer in the Networks and Protocols area of the Communications department.

In 1996, she joined STREAM S.p.A. in Technical Direction as System Engineer in the Integration and Industrialization area of the Diffusive Systems Development Department.

She graduated with honours in Electrical Engineering focused on Telecommunications at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome in 1996.

Francesco was born in Naples in 1968.

He has been Head of Real Estate at Inwit S.p.A since April 2020.

In 2019 he was Head of Governance Planning and Optimization at Vodafone Towers.

From 2010 to 2018 he was in charge of Rental Management Department at Vodafone Italy until he held the role of Head of Infrastructure Technical Office.

In 2007 he was Project Manager for Site Sharing project South Area at Vodafone Italy and in 2008 he was appointed Head of Network Implementation department for Centre Italy.

During the period 2003-2007 he held various managerial roles on Network Implementation and then he took on the position of Head of Site Contracts Renegotiation in Vodafone.

In 1998 he joined Vodafone-Omnitel where he dealt with technical support of the Network Implementation department South Area.

He has a degree in Civil Engineering Transports from the University of the Studies of Naples "Federico II" in 1993 and he was graduated in an Executive Master in Business and Administration from Polytechnic of Milan, Business School in 2007.
