Sustainability Plan 2022–2024
Governance, People, Environment, Innovation and Community: these are the fields in which the company is committed in the 2022 – 2024 Sustainability Plan and which characterize the present and future of our business.
According to the industrial strategy and in line with the provisions of Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, established in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 UN member states, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets, INWIT has drawn up its own 2022-2024 Sustainability Plan based on five ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) areas of commitment linked to one or more medium-long term objectives, as described below.
Medium-long term goals
Develop and maintain a system of governance aligned with best national and international practices.
Promote policies oriented towards development, which support production activities, the creation of dignified jobs, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and which encourage the formalisation and growth of small-medium enterprises, also through access to financial services.
Encourage businesses, in particular large multinationals, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their annual reports.
Reinforce resilience and the ability to adapt to climate-related risks and natural disasters in all countries.
Promote and apply non-discriminatory laws and sustainable development policies.
