Over 50 luxury hotels and resorts connected through INWIT’s “5G ready” solutions.

INWIT brings multi-operator connectivity to high-end hospitality venues across Italy. A stable, high-performance and integrated network that enhances both guest experience and staff efficiency.

“Connectivity is an essential part of the luxury experience. Today, we offer guests a reliable, high-performing and discreet network, seamlessly integrated into any environment — even the most refined.”
Lucio Golinelli, Chief Commercial Officer, INWIT

Italian hospitality is becoming increasingly digital, even in the luxury segment. Over 50 premium hotels and resorts throughout Italy have already chosen INWIT’s technology solutions to ensure efficient, secure and seamless indoor connectivity. Thanks to DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), these facilities benefit from multi-operator coverage that supports all mobile carriers — including 5G — with consistent and uninterrupted signal quality throughout.

INWIT’s infrastructure extends connectivity to every corner of a hotel, even structurally challenging areas such as guest rooms, corridors, elevators, spas, utility areas and underground parking, all without disrupting interior design. The DAS system is specifically designed to integrate discreetly, even in prestigious architectural spaces, through compact micro-antennas with low visual impact. The goal: deliver top-tier digital performance without altering the identity or value of the property.

INWIT’s indoor coverage enhances not only guest satisfaction — increasingly dependent on fast and reliable connectivity — but also the efficiency of hotel operations. From internal communications to digital service management (smart room service, virtual concierge, video surveillance, smart room applications), everything becomes more fluid and interconnected. The infrastructure also enables advanced home automation features, such as remote control of lighting and climate, smartphone-based door access, energy usage optimization, and integration of personalized multimedia content.

The connected hotels are located throughout Italy, especially in major tourist, cultural, and metropolitan hubs in Central and Northern regions.

Featured projects include:

  • Six Senses Rome: housed in a historic building in the heart of the capital, now equipped with 15 mini-antennas covering over 3,800 sqm — ensuring multi-operator signal even in architecturally protected areas.
  • Borgo Egnazia (host of the G7 Summit of Heads of State and Government): a DAS system was deployed across 45,000 sqm with 57 micro-antennas and 6 km of fiber, covering both indoor and outdoor spaces, from pools to event halls. The infrastructure is 5G-ready and set to support IoT-based developments tailored to luxury hospitality.

Among the early adopters of INWIT’s digital hospitality solutions is Sina Hotels, with Sina Bernini Bristol becoming the first 5G five-star hotel in Italy, featuring coverage in rooms, meeting areas and common spaces, enabling advanced automation services for guests and staff.

Lungarno Collection, owned by the Ferragamo family, also embraced DAS technology for Portrait Milano and the entire luxury district developed within the former Archbishop’s Seminary in Corso Venezia. The internal courtyard (over 2,800 sqm) hosts boutiques, restaurants and a large wellness area — becoming a space open not only to hotel guests, but also to Milanese locals. Thanks to INWIT, the site now serves as a testbed for wireless solutions dedicated to luxury and retail.

Other recent installations include:

  • Hotel Olangerhof in Plan de Corones (BZ), nestled in the Dolomites
  • Hotel Le Dune Piscinas in Ingurtosu (CA), a sustainable destination known for its environmental focus

“With over 50 luxury hotels and resorts already connected and a growing pipeline of new projects, INWIT reaffirms its commitment to the digital transformation of the hospitality sector. Through our multi-operator digital infrastructure, we are helping shape a more modern, connected and interactive model of hospitality,” declared Lucio Golinelli, Chief Commercial Officer, INWIT.
