Oscar Cicchetti has been Chairman of INWIT since October 2022.
With over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector, he has held senior positions within the Telecom Italia Group, including Head of Business Strategy, Head of Domestic Market Operations, Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Telecom Argentina.
Outside the Telecom Italia Group, as both investor and CEO he oversaw the acquisition, turnaround and subsequent sale of Netscalibur, one of Italy’s largest Data Centers.
He served as CEO of INWIT between 2015 and 2018, leading the company’s carve-out and stock market listing.
