INWIT brings its 5g digital infrastructure to Corte di Cassazione in Rome
DAS multi-operator micro-antenna system for ultra-fast data connectivity and stable, efficient mobile signal
INWIT, the main Italian tower operator company, has implemented a multi-operator DAS (Distributed Antenna System) micro-antenna system inside the historic building of Corte di Cassazione (highest appeals court) in Piazza Cavour in Rome. This project, currently active with TIM and Vodafone, aims to provide an ultra-fast, stable and efficient mobile connection, including 5G coverage, in one of the most emblematic buildings of the capital.
The DAS system installed by INWIT allows all telecommunications operators to offer a high-quality mobile signal inside the Palace, overcoming the connectivity problems caused by the thick walls of the building. Composed of 5G ready micro-antennas, the system was designed to have a minimal visual impact, integrating perfectly with the architectural structure of the Palace.
The digital infrastructure improve connectivity and open the way to innovative services which can optimize judicial procedures, document management and archives, speeding up communications and making justice more accessible and efficient. This represents a significant step forward for a sector of public administration that is undergoing a crucial digitalisation process.
Thanks to this initiative Corte di Cassazione can benefit an advanced connectivity, facilitating daily work and improving the overall efficiency of the Italian judicial system.
