INWIT brings its 5g digital infrastructure to Corte di Cassazione in Rome
DAS multi-operator micro-antenna system for ultra-fast data connectivity and a stable and efficient mobile signal.
Rome, August 1, 2024 – INWIT’s Digital infrastructures arrive also in the historic building of the Corte di Cassazione in Piazza Cavour in Rome. Through its digital infrastructures for dedicated multi-operator coverage for indoor locations DAS (Distributed Antenna System) INWIT, Italy’s leading tower company., will enable mobile network connectivity, also in 5G, in one of Rome’s most famous buildings. The infrastructure supports the 5G connectivity of all operators and is currently active with TIM and Vodafone.
INWIT installed a DAS system that allows all telecommunications operators to guarantee a stable and efficient mobile signal within the historic building. This digital and shared infrastructure is particularly important inside a building that, due to the structure of its walls, has always presented connectivity problems that have made mobile network communications very difficult.
The DAS system is composed of interconnected 5G ready micro-antennas with minimal visual impact, perfectly adaptable even in structures of relevant architectural value such as the Palazzo of the Corte di Cassazione in Rome.
The system enables better connectivity and thus also potentially innovative services for the optimization of procedures, document management and archives and a speeding up of communications, thus improving the usability and efficiency of justice. This represents a valuable aid for a public administration sector that is facing a major digitalization process.
