INWIT’s place confirmed in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index 2023

INWIT, Italy’s top tower operator, has been included for the second year running in the  Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) with an improved score. This confirmation rewards the ESG challenges taken up by INWIT particularly regarding disclosure and the inclusive culture policy implemented by the company.

The Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, developed in collaboration with global experts in the field, provides managers and investors each year with information to compare the gender equality commitment of the largest listed companies in the world. The 2023 edition includes 484 companies in 45 countries.

The index measures gender equality using five criteria: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies and pro-women brand.

In keeping with its values, including passion for people, as reflected in its Sustainability Plan, INWIT works to promote awareness of Diversity&Inclusion, striving to enhance the well-being and development of its people.

“Confirmation of the inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index confirms the soundness of our process of transformation towards a sustainable and inclusive business model in which a passion for people is central to all our initiatives. – stressed INWIT’s External Relations, Communication & Sustainability Director, Michelangelo Suigo -. We will continue to work in this direction, in the knowledge that a corporate environment that respects and includes diversity generates value for the area where it operates as well as society and the company itself.”
