INWIT confirmed in the FTSE4Good Index Series with improved ESG score

10 July 2026

For the fifth consecutive year, INWIT has been confirmed as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, one of the world’s leading indices assessing the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of listed companies.

The renewed inclusion is accompanied by an improvement in INWIT’s ESG score, rising from 3.9 to 4.1 out of 5, well above the telecommunications sector average of 3.1.

This improvement reflects the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, supported by ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certified management systems. It also extends to the circular economy, which enabled the recovery of 98% of materials decommissioned from INWIT sites, and to the consistent implementation of its decarbonisation strategy through tangible emissions-reduction initiatives, including the use of 100% renewable electricity in 2025.

Being included in the FTSE4Good Index Series means meeting the highest global ESG standards. This recognition acknowledges INWIT’s ongoing journey towards an increasingly sustainable business model, built on a solid, consistent strategy with a long-term focus.
