INWIT included in the 2022 Bloomberg Gender Equality Index for the first time
Rome, 26 January 2022 – INWIT, leading Italian tower operator, has been included for the first time in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), with an excellent score (73.68/100) which in particular rewarded its policy for an inclusive culture and pay equality.
The Bloomberg Gender Equality INDEX, developed in collaboration with global experts in the field, provides managers and investors each year with information to compare the gender equality commitment of the largest listed companies in the world. The 2022 edition includes 418 companies in 45 countries.
The index measures gender equality using five criteria: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies and pro-women brand.
INWIT, in line with the guidelines of the Sustainability Plan, which seeks to promote awareness of Diversity&Inclusion in the People area, works to focus on people, with the aim of promoting their well-being and development. Precisely in order to support this commitment and promote a corporate culture geared towards overcoming any type of discrimination and prejudice, INWIT has set up a D&I team and defined and approved a D&I Policy.
