Our company was ranked 31st globally and second in the world in the Tlc sector.

Another recognition for INWIT after the upgrades received in the ESG area. In the 2021 Diversity & Inclusion Top 100 Index, elaborated by Refinitiv, our company, the first Tower Company in Italy, was ranked second among Italian companies, in 31st place globally and second in the world in the telecommunications sector. An important position that certifies the progress made by INWIT in increasing the corporate identity and promoting awareness on issues of Diversity and Inclusion.

INWIT has been reconfirmed for the third consecutive year in the Refinitiv index: every year, Refinitiv evaluates the work of over 11,000 companies in terms of diversity and inclusion, analyzing public sources such as sustainability reports, financial reports, corporate websites and press news, taking into consideration 24 parameters divided into 4 categories: gender diversity, inclusion, people development and controversies.

“Another confirmation of the validity of the transformation path undertaken towards a sustainable business model”

Giovanni Ferigo, INWIT CEO

The recognition comes after the commitment made to the well-being of employees: following the lines of action of the People area of INWIT’s Sustainability Plan, a D&I team was set up to put people at the center, with the aim of fostering their well-being and development and defining priorities on the issues of diversity and inclusion. A first target achieved was the definition and approval by the Board of Directors of an ad hoc D&I Policy, which reflects INWIT’s commitment to promoting a corporate culture oriented to overcome any kind of discrimination and prejudice and the desire to make the workplace an inclusive and plural environment.
INWIT is also one of the signatories of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, promoted by the Global Compact and UN Women to support companies in promoting gender equality in the workplace, in the market and in the community.

The CEO of Giovanni Ferigo said of the recognition obtained: “This result is another confirmation of the validity of the transformation path undertaken towards a sustainable business model, in which people represent one of the pillars of our strategy and the main driver for change and the spread of the culture of sustainability. We are in fact aware that a corporate culture that respects and includes diversity is able to generate change not only for our company, but also for our stakeholders”.
