INWIT to host Iliad antennas on its towers

Iliad will also use INWIT’s towers to create an infrastructural network for mobile telephony with current 4G technology and to implement the new 5G system too.

This has been established in a framework agreement entered into today by the two companies.

Iliad will make use of some of the 11 thousand towers comprising the infrastructural assets of INWIT and that already host the antennas of other national telecommunications operators.

Under the agreement, which is not exclusive to both parties, Iliad will determine the number of sites to be requested from INWIT based on its new network design requirements.
