INWIT enters for the first time in the Euronext MIB® ESG index of the Italian Stock Exchange, the first ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) index dedicated to blue-chips that stand out for the adoption of best practices in the environmental, social and governance.
This result reflects the progress made by INWIT on the sustainability front, the driving force of our business model. Thanks to an ambitious and structured Sustainability Plan, important goals have been achieved in recent years, including the validation of the Net Zero target for 2040 by SBTi, the certification of the Environment, Health and Safety, Energy and Equality Management systems Gender and the execution of the PNRR’s Italy 5G Plan, with which INWIT contributes to reducing the digital divide.
