INWIT promotes the culture of workplace safety and brings partners and suppliers together
INWIT has also organized the annual event dedicated to partners of the implementation and maintenance processes this year (design and construction studios and contractors), in line with its strategy aimed at guaranteeing the highest standards of sustainability and safety.
The meeting was held in Rome on 6 December and in Milan on 17 December and represented an opportunity to consolidate collaboration with the supply chain and raise awareness on the issues of quality, environment, health and safety at work (HSE).
With these events INWIT aims to strengthen alignment with its partners, promoting a structured approach to safety management and an open dialogue on best prevention practices. The topics addressed include the 2024 report on Contractor Control audits, the management of accidents and near misses and existing HSE obligations. The first results of the Supervisory Body’s audits were also shared, underlining the importance of rigorous control along the entire value chain.
Focus on ISO 37001 and “Zero Corruption” approach
This year, an intervention dedicated to raising awareness of the ISO 37001:2016 standard, the international standard for the prevention of corruption, was also introduced. With the aim of obtaining certification in the first quarter of 2025, INWIT has reiterated its “Zero Corruption” approach as a strategic factor for the sustainable success of the company. The fight against corruption is not just a matter of compliance, but an essential pillar for building a corporate culture based on transparency, integrity and ethics.
The integration of these principles in the relationship with suppliers is already strengthened by the Supplier Code of Conduct, approved last July, which establishes clear expectations in terms of ethics, human rights, safety and environmental sustainability throughout the supply chain. This code represents an essential reference for promoting a responsible procurement cycle, in line with the INWIT Sustainability Plan.
A safer and more sustainable future through collaboration
The annual meeting is not only a moment of operational discussion, but also an opportunity to consolidate a shared vision between INWIT and its partners. The promotion of a healthy, safe and compliant working environment with HSE regulations is an essential objective for the company, which is committed to encouraging an open and collaborative dialogue with all interested parties.
Thanks to the synergy with its suppliers, INWIT continues to build a business model in which quality, safety and sustainability are integrated to create long-term value. Through events like this, INWIT reaffirms its commitment to a more sustainable, ethical and safe future, in collaboration with a supply chain aligned with company values.
