TourFOR5G: third stage in Florence

TourFOR5G, the itinerant event organized by Fondazione Ottimisti & Razionali and INWIT, focuses on the centrality and strategic importance of individual territories for the full implementation of the objectives contained in the PNRR to promote digital transition and the development of the 5G network in the country.

After the first stop in Naples and the second in Rome, theFOR5G Tour made a stop in Florence this time, at Palazzo Medici Riccardi – Sala Nicola Pistelli.


Together with the Mayor of the city, Dario Nardella, Cecilia del Re, Councillor for the Environment, Technological Innovation, Fairs and Congresses of the Municipality of Florence, Giovanni Ferigo, CEO of INWIT, Antonella Mansi, President of the Florence Centre for Italian Fashion and Eike Schmidt, Director of the Uffizi Gallery also participated.

In order for Florence to become the most digitised city in Italy, as hoped for by Mayor Nardella, it is necessary to encourage the processes that are being set in motion to be able to rethink a more innovative, inclusive and digital Italy, and to aim for a strong digital planning of the city, capable of creating connections while respecting and enhancing the artistic and cultural heritage that distinguishes the city.
