Gabriele Abbagnara has been CEO of Smart City Roma and Top Clients Director at INWIT since April 2026.
He joined the company in 2019, initially leading the Marketing & Sales function and subsequently the Indoor Solutions team.
With extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, he began his career in commercial roles at Bull Italia and Tandem Computers, specialising in solutions for the Finance and Interbanking Services markets. From 1997 to 2018 he held roles of increasing responsibility at TIM S.p.A. and Telecom Italia, operating across Corporate, Public Administration, Healthcare and Local Government markets, with a progressive focus on complex IT/TLC solutions and projects related to the Digital Agenda, e-Health and Smart City development.
