Technology & Operations Director
He’s INWIT’s Chief Technology & Operations Officer since 28 March 2022.
From 2018 to 2022 he worked in Sirti S.p.A, an international company operating in the TLC, Energy and ICT sector, where he held a number of top management roles.
In 2018 he became Executive Vice President of Operations in the TELCO area, a post he held until February 2022, when he was appointed Executive Vice President of the TELCO Business Unit and became a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.
From 2020 to 2022 he was also CEO of SIRTI TELCO PIEMONTE s.r.l. and from 2021 has also held the role of Executive President of SIRTI Energia S.p.A..
From 1994 to 2018 he worked in Ericsson Telecomunicazioni S.p.A, the multinational supplier of Telco & ICT technologies. He began his career in Ericsson as CORE System Engineer and then held management roles of growing complexity in the Italian and international market.
From 2001 to December 2006, he was first System Engineering Line Manager and then Customer Delivery Manager for all the services provided to the customer, from network design, to project management for the roll out of CORE & Mobile Access networks, to post-sales technical support.
From 2007 he started his international experience, first on the south/east Europe market as Business Manager for the Customer Support & Managed Services area and then with the role of Services Delivery Country Manager with responsibility for the Italian and south/east Europe market.
From 2010 to 2013 he was Head of the Operations department, responsible for the Italian and central southern Mediterranean markets, in charge of the entire installation process and the commissioning of telecommunication equipment, pre-post sales professional services, planning and design of the core, transmission and mobile access network, including responsibility for economic performance.
In 2013 he was appointed Supply & Logistic manager for the Mediterranean area. In 2017 he became Sales & Country Manager of the Algeria & Tunisia Customer Unit and in the second half of 2017 took charge of the Networks and Managed Services Delivery department, with responsibility for the entire supply life-cycle of TELCO services in Italy, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.
He has a deep knowledge of the TLC sector and consolidated experience in the management of complex company transformation projects at both national and international level.
