A tour to talk about 5G
Naples, Rome, Florence, Genoa, Verona and Venice: INWIT in 6 cities to talk about 5G and territories.
A travelling debate to explore the world of 5G involving six cities along the national territory: the “TourFor5G”, promoted by Fondazione Ottimisti & Razionali and INWIT, has started with the first stop on Monday, December 13, 2021 in the Sala della Giunta of Palazzo San Giacomo in Naples, and will continue in Rome, Florence, Genoa, Verona and Venice.
Through the contribution of personalities from the institutional, academic and business world, the potential of 5G and, above all, its concrete applications on the territories involved have been illustrated. This is the purpose of the tour: to emphasize the centrality and the strategic importance of individual territories in order to facilitate the digital transition within the country in compliance with the objectives contained in the National Reform Programme and to spread the knowledge of a vital technology for the development of the country, which requires, above all, widespread training and information to all segments of the population.
An important message from our CEO Giovanni Ferigo “To achieve the full and complete deployment of 5G, fundamental for the future of our cities, it is necessary to implement a widespread coverage of ultrafast mobile network outdoor, with telecommunication towers, indoor, that is inside buildings. As INWIT, in Naples we have already contributed with our indoor coverage for example at the University Federico II, at the Napoli Centrale station, the historic headquarters of Intesa San Paolo in Via Toledo, the Parking Morelli and, recently, also the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa. All without invasive interventions on the structure and with very low emissions per system thanks to their diffusion. Our collaboration with the territories is strengthened with the tour on 5G that starts today”.
The next appointment with the tour organized by INWIT and Fondazione Ottimisti Razionali is scheduled in Rome. Stay tuned!
